More Ones and Tens

Specific Learning Outcomes: 

Count up to 50 objects by grouping the objects in tens.

Money (Material Master 4-9)
Activity: 

Problem: In pairs one student shows two digit numbers on the arrow cards. The other student makes up this amount of money with $1 and $10 notes. Then students swap roles. Challenging examples. Repeat with three digit numbers.
