Purpose of the site:

This link is part of the BBC skillswise site. It provides online geometry and measurement activities.

New Zealand context:

There are a range of online geometry and measurement activities. Each topic has a fact sheet, quiz, printable worksheet, and teacher notes. Some topics have games. The quizzes have 3 levels of difficulty and at the end of the quiz students are given a score and an explanation with each answer. Some sections have an English flavour with the use of £ and English place names. The activities could be used as independent activities for individual or pairs of students, worksheets could be included in class programmes and facts sheets and Tutors notes provide mathematical content knowledge.

New and Different:

The site has fact sheets, quizzes, worksheets, games and teacher notes for a range of geometry and measurement activities.
