Purpose of the Site:

An Internet based curriculum on Math and Aeronautics for children with physical disabilities.

New Zealand Context:

Although American based, the activities on this site are generally simple enough for young mathematicians and geographers to enjoy.  There are a range of activities that make up the site, teachers will need to carefully select appropriate material as some activites cover other curriculum areas (the science and technology associated with aeronautics).

New and Different

Students can learn a little about the individuals with disabilities whom contributed to the site development.  The site clearly sets the context of the activities through progressive lessons.  There are also some very cool lessons on aeronautics!
