Purpose of the Site:

This site contains a variety of on-line logic puzzles. Potential users include students working at levels 4+ of the mathematics curriculum and their teachers.

New Zealand Context:

There are 9 different on-line logic puzzles on this site, along with a maze generator. These puzzles are most suited to independent student use, but could be incorporated as part of a classroom focus on puzzles with students trialing different strategies, describing problem solving methods to each other and investigating the differences between approaches.

The logic puzzles provide a meaningful and enjoyable way to develop logical thinking and problem solving skills.

The site is very well presented and easy to use, making it ideal for independent student use.
