Students help Neo get home from school by sequencing analogue clocks and a series of images. Students match word labels and digital clocks to the analogue clocks.
Teacher notes
- Students sequence five analogue clocks then match digital clocks and word labels to the analogue clocks.
- Students sequence five images of a boy leaving school at the end of the day.
- After correctly sequencing and matching clocks, labels and illustrations, students watch an animation of the event.
- The clocks and labels show the time in quarter hour intervals between half past three and half past four.
- The labels present the time in words eg a quarter to four.
- Students associate events in a sequence with certain times.
- Students are exposed to three different ways of expressing time: analogue clocks, digital clocks and words.
- Audio for all text is included to support reading and comprehension.
