National Standards Illustrations

A collection of illustrations has been developed to support the implementation of National Standards. Choose a year level from the image above to see a list of available illustrations for that year level. Further illustrations will be added to these lists over the coming months.
Each illustration includes:
- a page describing the task that was used to generate the work samples
- a collection of two or more work samples, each illustrating work at a particular standard and annotated to indicate features that are representative of that standard.
There are currently fourteen tasks available with illustrations. They can be accessed from the year level links above or from the table below.

A collection of interactive modules has been developed to help teachers and other education professionals work with the National Standards and the illustrations in reading, writing and mathematics.
